All plants can be divided into different groupings, based on various features. For example:
-Vascular Plants (with xylem and phloem vessels): everything but mosses and their relatives, which don't have a vascular system and can't grow very tall
-Spore vs Seed Plants:
Spore plants include mosses, ferns, horsetails, and others, which scatter their spores and need water to help spores meet to fertilize each other and make new individuals
Seed Plants, like Conifers (plants with cones) and Flowering plants (with fruits), make a seed that the adult plant carries in a cone or fruit or nut
